Emergencies: In the event of an emergency, I authorize this establishment to immediately seek professional veterinary attention for my pet (at my expense). I understand that all attempts will be made to contact me in the event of an emergency.
Coat Condition: I understand that this establishment puts my pet’s comfort above all else. In the event that my pet’s coat is matted, I understand that the groomer may have to shave the matts out rather than perform a painful dematting procedure. I also understand that if my pet is severely matted, that there is an increased risk for clipper burn or cuts to occur. I understand that all attempts will be made to prevent this, however in many extreme matted conditions, it is unavoidable and I will not hold groomer or establishment accountable if any incident is to occur. I also understand that matted pets take additional time and work to groom so there will be an additional fee added onto the base grooming price due to the extra work and time my pet will require.
Health: I understand that grooming can be stressful to some pets and I will inform the groomer if my pet has any heart conditions or any stress related issues prior to grooming. I also understand that it is necessary to have my pet up to date on all vaccinations prior to every grooming.
Hard to Handle / Special Needs Pets: I understand that if the groomer labels my pet a hard to handle and/or a Special Needs pet, there will be an additional fee added onto the base grooming price due to the extra work and time my pet will require. I also understand that for hard to handle and/or special needs pets, the groomer will not guarantee the ready-to-go pick up time.
Safety/ precautions: I Understand that all efforts will be made to properly and safely groom my pet. I also understand that my presence can make my pet anxious and will only distract my pet which will cause them to not cooperate with the grooming procedure. Therefore I understand that if I enter the facility without being contacted first I place my pet in an anxious state and at high risk to being accidentally hurt. I understand that the staff will place my pet in the kennel in efforts to help him/her relax. I also understand that in some extreme cases they will stop all grooming services. At which point I will be required to pay the full grooming service cost before receiving my pet “As is” I will not hold the groomer, facility, or any other related party accountable if anything should happen.
Cancellation Policy: I understand that if I need to change my appointment time or cancel it, that I must give at least a 48 hour notice so that the appointment time can be made available to another client who is on the waiting list. I also understand that if my appointment is canceled less than 48 hours before my scheduled grooming, I will be charged 50% of the service for the cancellation.
No Show Policy: I understand that if I do not show up on time or at all for my scheduled appointment, I will be charged the full fee for the service(s) I booked. Another appointment will not be scheduled for me until this no show fee is paid in full.
Late Pick-up Fee: I understand that my pet must be picked up within 30 minutes of being notified that he/she is ready. If my pet is not picked up within the allotted time there will be a $25.00 fee added to my service.
